Common eyes problems
The eyes can be sensitive to light, be dry or irritated; they can be watery, be red and feel extremely itchy. These are but a few of the most common symptoms. If you work at a computer for many hours, or if you strain your eyes at work and that often in conditions of unhealthy air and inadequate light. Chances are that you will experience certain discomfort. Wearing contact lenses or their lack of maintenance can also be at fault. Eye problems are sometimes warning signs of underlying health problems, such as diabetes, allergies, liver problems or the beginning of infections.
Health Advice
Diet greatly influences eye health. A single vitamin deficiency can cause serious problems, just as proper vitamin and mineral supplementation can correct and prevent vision problems. Vitamin A for example is an important antioxidant necessary for the health of the cornea. If taken daily, vitamin A can reduce the risk of infections, dry eye syndrome and age-related macular degeneration. Omegas have also been shown to help to keep the surface of the eye moist therefore reducing dryness, uncontrolled tears and irritation.
